Hilti Shorts - making of documentary
A short documentary about the making of the experimental animation series "Hilti´s Odyssey of Oddities".
During the time of the old-school DIY Tagtool, OMAi developed an experimental animation mini series. These episodes were recorded at Garnison7 in Vienna.
In January 2009, in the time of the oldschool DIY Tagtool, we set out to make an animated mini series called Die haarsträubenden Irrfahrten des Hilti, which can be translated as "Hilti's Odyssey of Oddities", recorded in the studio as improvised takes according to a loose script. The episodes featured the space mechanic Hilti and his careless spaceship called Captain.
